The New Black Panther Party pays tribute to Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad

The New Black Panther Party and the African International Merchants’ Agency held, on January 12, 2023, the 22nd annual tribute to Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad at the Magnolia Center in Brooklyn.

The celebration of Black power included a Black market, drumming, musical performances, and a keynote speech by Pan-Africanist and Doctor of Clinical Psychology Dr. Umar Johnson.

Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad was a Muslim minister, activist, and leader of the New Black Panther Party. Dr. Muhammad was born on January 12, 1948, and died on February 17, 2001, at 53 in Atlanta, Georgia.
