Jean Alexander and late WIADCA president William Howard honored at West Indian American Day Carnival Breakfast

The West Indian American Day Carnival Association hosted its annual West Indian American Day Carnival Breakfast a few hours before the parade on September 2, 2018 at Lincoln Terrace Park in Brooklyn.

Public relations consultant Jean Alexander received a proclamation from congresswoman Yvette Clark for her service to the West Indian American Day Carnival Association and NYC Council speaker Corey Johnson honored the late WIADCA president William Howard.

Governor Cuomo who was among the many politicians who attended the event announced an investment from New York State of up to $15 million to build the 60,000 square-foot Carey Gabay Community Center in Brooklyn.
