The City of New York announced, on September 17, 2020, changes to the previous school reopening schedule announced earlier this month.

According to the new schedule, only 3-K, pre-K, early education sites and District 75 schools serving special education kids will start in-person learning on September 21st, 2020.

K-5 schools and K-8 schools will open their door to students on September 29, 2020 while middle schools and high schools will open on October 1st, 2020.

Remote learning started for all public schools on September 16, 2020 and for some charter schools in late August.
