Business owner Joy Hibbert receives Project Enterprise 2012 Charles B. Benenson Entrepreneur Award

Project Enterprise honored several members of the entrepreneurial community during its 9th Annual Charles B. Benenson Entrepreneur Awards on October 25, 2012 at the Prince George Ballroom in Manhattan.

Monique Greenwood of Akwaaba Inns received the Project Enterprise Award; the Champion of Entrepreneurship Award was presented to the Harlem Community Development Corporation; Alex Counts received the very first Project Enterprise Legacy Award and Joy Hibbert of Love Joy Sweet Treats was presented the 2012 Charles B. Benenson Entrepreneur Award.

The organization celebrated in 2012 « 15 years of fueling the entrepreneurial engine of New York City » by providing loans and training to small business owners of underserved communities.
