Runway shows of the 3rd edition of Africa Fashion Week started on July 12, 2012 at Broad Street Ballroom with a lineup of nine designers, including Francis Hendy, Kibonen and Bill Witherspoon.

The fashion event showcasing designers of African descent, and produced this year by Shantel Stephenson and the Adiree team, continues until July 14 and features designers such as Farai Simoyi, Korto Momolu, Fikirte Addis and Kachi Designs.

Africa Fashion Week is a luxury, multi-day event of runway shows, vendor exhibitions, and industry networking events to raise awareness of the African fashion and entertainment professionals in the New York tri-state area. For more information, log on to afwny.com.
