MCW (Miracle Corners of the World), the nonprofit organization which empowers youth to become positive agents of change, hosted its eighth annual MCW Gala on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012, at New York University and presented Obiageli Ezekwesili, Vice President of the Africa Region at the World Bank with the MCW Leadership Award.
Other honorees included activist Elie Wiesel of the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity, who received the MCW Lifetime Achievement Award; and UPS, recipient of the 2012 MCW Community Partnership Award. For more information on MCW, visit miraclecorners.org
