Port-Louis, Mauritius (PANA) – The Mauritius Meteorological Service Tuesday issued a cyclone warning class I for the country, as tropical cyclone Bejisa approaches the island.
Bejisa, centred in latitude 13.2 degrees south and longitude 53.3 degrees east, is about 900 km North-west of Mauritius.
It is moving in a general southerly direction at about 10 km/h.
The Meteorological Service said Bejisa is a potential threat to the island.
