United Colors of Fashion honored several personalities of the fashion industry at its second annual fundraising gala on Oct. 17, 2012 at the Museum of New York City in Manhattan.

The list of honorees included Sandi Bass who was presented with the award for Creative Director of the Year, Jan Malan, Nigel Barker, Bukiwe Sanqwu and Camille Evans.

The fashion designers, who were meticulously selected to showcase their collection, were Anya Ayoung Chee from Trinidad and Tobago, Style Butler from Denmark, Carla Silva from Angola, Amparo Chorda from Spain, Naked Ape from South Africa, Soucha Fashion House from Tunisia, and David Tlale from South Africa.

United Colors of Fashion was founded by Ciano Clerjuste and Veronica Rovegno to provide a fashion education to the underprivileged and help South African children suffering from HIV/AIDS and sickle cell anemia.
