The Gentlemen’s Factory, Strivers’ Row, and BE NYC host networking reception for Black entrepreneurs

On November 20, 2021, the Gentlemen’s Factory, Strivers’ Row, and Black Entrepreneurs NYC (BE NYC) hosted a reception at Brooklyn Commons to allow Black entrepreneurs to reconnect with peers.

Several elected officials, including Deputy Mayor Phil Thompson, Commissioner of Small Business Services Jonnel Doris, BE NYC Executive Director Kenneth Ebbie, and Lieutenant Governor Brian Benjamin, attended the event to stress the need for collaboration and equity in economic development.
