The City of New York hosts African Heritage Celebration in the Bronx

The City of New York held its African Heritage Celebration and Festival on September 17, 2022, at Lou Gehrig Plaza in The Bronx.

The all-day event featured musical and traditional dance performances, spoken word artists, backpack and grocery giveaways, a parade, face painting, and free health screenings.
