Rose Marie Guiraud’s bon voyage benefit

Members of the Ivorian diaspora in the United States recently hosted a fundraiser for internationally acclaimed dancer /choreographer Rose Marie Guiraud, who has decided to move back home to the Ivory Coast after living in America for many years.

The benefit was held on April 14, 2012 at the Annunciation Ballroom in Harlem under the patronage of H.E. Daouda Diabate, Ivory Coast’s ambassador of the United Nations and Ivory Coast’s former UN Ambassador Youssoufou Bamba.

A number of performers came to pay homage to Guiraud in song and dance.
