Bronx Community College Muslim Student Association, the Male Empowerment Network, and the African Students Association held, on December 1, 2022, a roundtable discussion with the college’s President, Dr. Thomas Isekenegbe, to discuss issues affecting them.
Some issues raised during the exchange were the lack of halal food options at the cafeteria and of an ablution place.
Eugene Adams, Director of Collaborative Programs, who emceed the event, also shared scholarship information and ways students can access support services, including health and food assistance on and outside the campus.
