On January 22, 2022, Mayor Eric Adams warned killers in New York City during a press conference held with Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell at Harlem Hospital following the shooting of two NYPD officers in Harlem.
The officers were responding to a domestic violence call on 135th between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powel Blvd. The suspect is 47-year-old Lashawn McNeil.
