The NYC Department of Education’s Office of Equity and Access and NYU Center for Strategic Solutions hosted their 3rd annual Decolonizing Education Conference on June 7, 2019 at the Brooklyn Law School.
The two-day event designed for & by teacher activists and youth seeking to disrupt and dismantle institutional racism and systems of oppression in schools included 60 workshops, and keynote speeches by Dr. Marcelle Haddix and Cornelius Minor.
