Harry Belafonte honored at Harlem Renaissance Day of Commitment Leadership Breakfast

On June 19, 2013, the Abyssinian Development Corporation hosted its nineteenth Harlem Renaissance Day of Commitment Leadership Breakfast in City College of New York’s Great Hall in Harlem.

The morning event recognized longstanding partners and friends of the organization and its programs.

Among the honorees were actor and activist Harry Belafonte, the Mayor of New York City, Michael R. Bloomberg, and Starbucks’ CEO and president Howard Schultz who were presented with the 2013 Harlem Renaissance Award in front of more than 500 guests.
