Guinea beat Burkina Faso in the final by 2-1, becoming the winner of the 5th Annual African Nations Soccer Tournament hosted by the Bronx African Advisory Council on May 17, 2014 at Macombs Dam Park.

Guinea dominated from the start despite several attempts by the Burkinabe team to reverse the trend, especially during the second half of the game.

The soccer tournament, which is growing in popularity among the African immigrant community, is held every year during Bronx Week.
