Banjul, Gambia (PANA) – While the situation in Gambia’s capital, Banjul, is still veiled in a cloud of uncertainty, the alleged ringleader of Tuesday’s attempt to oust President Yahya Jammeh has been reported killed by forces loyal to the West African nation’s strongman.

Ten soldiers, including their ringleader, a former State Guard Commander at State House in Banjul Lt Col. Lamin Sanneh, have been killed by forces loyal to Jammeh in a foiled coup d’etat attempt to oust the 20-year old regime, knowledgeable sources said in Banjul.
