The City of New York held a Juneteenth Celebration on June 18, 2021 at the James Baldwin Lawn at St. Nicholas Park in Harlem where actress Naturi Naughton was honored with a City proclamation.

The celebration also included an invocation from Emmanuel Hunter and several performances from students of the Brooklyn School of the Arts, Brooklyn poet and story teller Miah Prescod, the Secret Society Dance Company, and the Marching Cobras.
