Motown founder Berry Gordy welcomed both the Gordy family and the Motown Family to a pre-opening performance of Motown: The Musical on April 5, 2013 at Broadway’s The Lunt Fontanne Theatre in Manhattan.
Several iconic Motown artists and groups including Stevie Wonder, Janie Bradford, The Temptations, The Adantes, The Vandellas, and The Velvettes attended the event.
