Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater held its annual spring gala benefit on April 8, 2012 at the Apollo Theater.
The event started with a one-night-only performance by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, The Ailey School and Ailey Campers followed by a festive gala party.
This year’s honorary chair was Toni Braxton and the event’s honorees Leslie & Thomas Maheras.
