Africans join the fight for Immigration Reform

Members of the African community joined the hundreds of thousands of immigrant families who descended on the West Lawn of the U. S capitol on April 10, 2013 to demand Congress to pass immigration reform for the estimated 11 million undocumented living in the shadow.

Elected officials such as Yvette Clark, Luis Gutierrez, Charles Rangel, D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray and NAACP president Benjamin Jealous were among the supporters who attended the rally.
