African New Yorker Gérard Koala to receive in July the Best African Cultural Promoter Award at PADEV 2020

Gérard Koala, African New Yorker, DJ and coordinator of the FONY Festival, promoting African culture in New York, is among the winners of PADEV 2020, the African Development Prize, honoring those whose works in their respective sectors of activity, by their quality and impact constitute models of contribution to the development of their country and Africa.

Gérard Koala will receive the Best African Cultural Promoter Award during the PADEV KIGALI 2020 ceremony, which will take place from July 19 to July 21, 2020 in Rwanda.

The African Development Prize (PADEV) was created in 2006 in Abidjan by the 225 foundation, a group of civil society organizations from 12 African countries.
