New York City Comptroller Scott M. Stringer’s office held a briefing on The New York City Agency Report Card on Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises on June 7, 2019 in Manhattan.
The briefing led by Chief Diversity Officer Wendy Garcia, discussed the impact on women M/WBEs and an action plan to the Charter Revision for a Chief Diversity Officer.
The women in attendance shared their challenges in securing contracts.
