The West Indian American Day Carnival Association (WIADCA) presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to Yolanda Lezama-Clark Young Lao for her commitment to the West Indian community during its 57th Annual VIP Fundraising Breakfast in Brooklyn.

The event was attended by many officials, including State Attorney General Letitia James, Governor Hochul, U.S. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Congresswoman Yvette Clarke, and NYC Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, among others.
