Weeklong Harlem/Havana Music & Cultural Festival continues

This week, Harlem/Havana Music & Cultural Festival—an international visual and performing arts, fashion, education and culinary exchange—continues to celebrate the rich artistic connection between iconic cities Harlem, New York and Havana, Cuba with music and dance performances, Cuban-inspired dining, and more throughout the city.

Yesterday, Jorge Luis Pacheco y su Grupo performed at The Apollo Theatre, and members of the Harlem/Havana All Star Band presented a performance in partnership with Jazzmobile at U.S. Grant National Memorial Park.

In addition, NYC restaurants including Red Rooster Harlem, Streetbird Rotisserie, Sylvia’s, Amor Cubano, Oso, Harlem’s Floridita Cuban Restaurant, La Fonda del Sol and Tastings Social Presents Mountain Bird that will feature a special selection of Cuban-inspired dishes and cocktails on their menus in honor of the weeklong Harlem/Havana festival.
