Uptown Grand Central hosts Solstice Soul Train in East Harlem

Uptown Grand Central, a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming East 125th Street into a thriving corridor, hosted Solstice Soul Train in East Harlem, a celebration of the Winter Solstice on December 21, 2018.

The festivities included live musicians and marching bands from Fifth to Lexington avenues, a glow-in-the-dark community art project and FREE glow jewelry, a holiday pop-up shop at the Caribbean Cultural Center, the official lighting of the 125th & Park tree and a business tour with Small Business Services Commissioner Gregg Bishop.
