Tunis, Tunisia (PANA) – The president of the Republic of Tunisia, Moncef Marzouki said, Thursday, that more attention should be given to Africa’s agricultural land.

According to Marzouki, Africa’s agricultural land must remain Africans’ property, making a reference to international capitalists circles purchasing cultivable lands in the continent.

Speaking at the opening of the “Forum Tunisia”, the president Marzouki insisted on standing up against this trend of taking possession of Africa’s agricultural lands that are crucial for Africa’s food security.
