Tunisia: Algerian film wins award at Sousse Children and Youth Film Fest

Sousse, Tunisia (PANA) – Algerian film, Les Jours d’avant, directed by Karim Moussaoui, was awarded the “Hadramout” grand prize in feature films at the International Children and Youth Film Fest of Sousse, Tunisia.

The film, Einspurch VI by Swiss Ronaldo Colla, won the first prize in the short film for young people, while ”Bel horizon”, by Ethiopian Stephane Ajar, won the first prize in the feature film for children.

”Solidad”, directed by Venezuelan Harnen Jabbas, was awarded the first prize in the short film for children.

The festival jury expressed its full support to the festival for what it represents in terms of education for children and youth, while recommending the creation of a category for documentary film.
