Togo’s President visits Congo

Brazzaville, Congo – Togolese President Faure Gnassingbe Sunday arrived in the Congolese city of Oyo for an three-day official visit to the Central African country, the Congolese radio reported.

President Gnassingbe was welcomed at the Ollombo international airport by his Congolese counterpart, Denis Sassou N’Guesso, and other officials.

While in Congo, the Togolese leader will visit the milk treatment plant at Edou and the water treatment units of Okiessi, as well as the solar panel-making plant.

He is also scheduled to visit the farms of Kila, Mbolo and the touristic site of Ngolodoua based in Oyo.

President Gnassingbe, who is accompanied by a large delegation, will sign several cooperation pacts with his host before leaving for home on Tuesday.
