Albany City Council member Owusu Anane held the third Annual African Diaspora Caucus Network on April 9, 2022, at Albany City Hall.
The event, which always coincides with the annual New York State Association of Black Puerto-Rican Hispanic and Asian Legislative Conference, is an opportunity for community leaders to network and work together to uplift the African immigrant community.
This year’s event honored education advocate Queen Makkada.
