On January 28, 2023, Mohamed and Rahim Diallo, also known as the Ginjan brothers, hosted an official opening ceremony for their new GinjanCafé Brooklyn at 333 Nostrand Ave, in Bedstuy.

The brothers started the festivities with master kora player Ismaila Diarra followed by Congolese musician NKumu Katalay and his band.

Of course, good food and drinks were on the menu: from cassava leaves sauce to okra sauce, Jollof rice, and vegetable wraps.

The two brothers started their journey into the beverage business in 2014 and opened their first café in Harlem in 2019.

You will find at GinjanCafé, the brothers’ famous Ginger juice, Bissap juice made with hibiscus, coffee from Rwanda, Ethiopia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, pastries, and ancient grain bowls.
