Street Corner Resources held a community response rally at Saint Nicholas Houses on March 7, 2021, a day after a 10-year-old Harlemite was found lifeless in his mother’s apartment on 131st Street and 8th Avenue.

While the police are investigating the cause of death, community members led by Iesha Sekou, rallied to denounce the death but also to call for more solidarity among Harlemites, more resources for the youth and lastly more cameras.

Street Corner Resources is a local organization located on 145th street between Lenox and 7th Avenue “engaging youth and providing them with the resources to help them develop holistically.”
