Actor Malik Yoba with Célia and Hélène Faussart of Les Nubians at Shared Interest’s New York City screening of “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom”

Shared interested, a New York-based nonprofit social investment fund which mission is to mobilize resources for Southern Africa’s economically disenfranchised communities, hosted an exclusive pre-screening of “Mandela : Long Walk to Freedom”, on November 18, 2013 in Manhattan.
Several celebrities including actor Malik Yoba, Sahr Ngaujah of Tony-winning Broadway musical “Fela!, Célia Faussart and Hélène Faussart of Les Nubians attended the screening preceded by a VIP reception.
Proceeds from the screening hosted in collaboration with South Africa’s Department of Arts and Culture, Madiba Restaurant and Wines of South Africa will support Shared Interest’s mission.
“Mandela : Long Walk to Freedom” will hit theaters on November 29, 2013.
