The Renaissance Fine Art gallery recently hosted the opening reception of sculptor Ousmane Gueye’s latest exhibition, “Le Retour,” which means “The Comeback.”
The exhibition, which opened March 30, 2012, features more than 30 new sculptures by internationally renowned artist. Gueye was born in Dakar, Senegal, where he made his first sculpture at the age of six. He later burgeoned, making a name for himself under the wing of his mentor Leopold Senghor, the late poet and President of Senegal.
