Manhattan Borough president Scott Stringer co-sponsored on Saturday, June 29, 2013, the Immigration Reform Roundtable, a community forum and resource fair assembling New York City’s top experts in order to bring current information to immigrant communities.

The event, which took place at the Mist Harlem Theater included remarks from elected officials, panel discussions as well as presentations from selected immigration experts.

The panelists covered fraud prevention, deportation, deferred action and the immigration reform bill.

The presentations also provided information about available resources to prepare and assist individuals and families affected, should changes to immigration laws occur.
