Many immigrants had lost confidence in president Barack Obama and his ability to make Immigration Reform a reality.
Nevertheless, on November 20, 2014, he made a speech largely boycotted by the mainstream media and this is the deal he is offering to undocumented immigrants.
“If you’ve been in America for more than five years and you have children that are Americans or legal residents; if you register pass a criminal background check and you are willing to pay your fair share of taxes, you will be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily without fear of deportation. You can come out the shadows and get right with the law.”
