The Permanent Mission of the African Union to the United-Nations celebrated African Day on May 25, at the Manhattan Center in New York City.
Several African dignitaries attended the event that included a cake cutting ceremony, a buffet of traditional African dishes and a fashion show showcasing different styles from throughout the African continent.
