NYC leaders call to resist President Trump’s immigration plans

On January 26, 2017, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., Congress Member Adriano Espaillat and immigration advocates from across the city will hold a press conference to speak out against and resist President Donald Trump’s newly announced executive orders on immigration, including his proposal to build a wall along the Mexican border and his threat to revoke funding for “sanctuary cities” like New York.

The press conference will be held at 10 am on the steps of the Bronx County Building at 851 Grand Concourse.
