Nigeria: New President Muhammadu Buhari appoints spokesmen

Abuja, Nigeria (PANA) – Nigeria’s new President Muhammadu Buhari Sunday appointed two spokesmen in the first set of appointments into his three-day-old administration.

According to a State House statement, President of the umbrella Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE) and current Editor of the Sun newspaper Femi Adesina was appointed Special Adviser (Media and Publicity).

Also, Malam Garba Shehu, a former President of the NGE, was named the Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity).

The President also appointed Malam Lawal Abdullahi Kazaure as the State Chief of Protocol, SCOP.
