Nation’s first City-led nurse residency program launches at Harlem Hospital

City officials announced the launch of the nation’s first City-led nurse residency program in 24 participating local hospitals.

The announcement was made by NYC Deputy Mayor Phil Thompson; Commissioner Gregg Bishop, NYC Department of Small Business Services; Ebone Carrington, CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals – Harlem; Mary Anne Marra, Interim Chief Nursing Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals and Matthew Washington, Manhattan Deputy Borough President on December 17, 2018 at Harlem Hospital, a program participant.
