Five months after opening the Tribeca Film Festival, Nas: Time is Illmatic, the film that “captured the essence, soul and history” of Nas’ debut album will open in theaters on October 1st, and be available on demand on October 3, 2014.
Nas, along with One9, the director and Erik Parker, the writer met with the press on September 29, 2014 to talk about the film that took almost 10 years to complete.
Nas: Time is Illmatic features interviews with Nas’ father Olu Dara, his brother Jungle, Alicia Keys, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, Dj Premier, L.E.S and Pharell among others.
