The Muslim Community Network (MCN) has launched a hotline (888-409-0036) for community members who don’t have access to the internet or who cannot fill out necessary forms to access resources and information around COVID-19.
The hotline is manned by volunteers speaking eight different languages (Soninke, Malinke, French, Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Farsi, and Arabic). The organization also provides food delivery, small-cash assistance, unemployment and benefits guidance, among other services.
The Muslim Community Network is a nonprofit organization based in New York City working to build consensus and cooperation among diverse Muslims — crossing ethnic, gender, class and religious boundaries to build unity and understanding.
