Muslim Community Network welcomed the holy month of Ramadan with a Food Pack-A-Thon on Thursday, March 31st, 2022, at the Islamic Cultural Center of New York located in Manhattan.

Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine joined MCN staff to distribute 200 grocery boxes with Ramadan essentials such as dates, sugar, canned milk, rice bags, oil, etc., to Muslim immigrants from all around the city.

The food distribution included a resource fair with the NYC Commission on Human Rights to educate Muslim immigrants about their rights and the resources available for filing complaints about hate crimes and discrimination.
