Cotonou, Benin – The Liberian president, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, is expected Wednesday in Cotonou at the start of a two-day working visit in Benin, PANA learnt from official sources.

The Liberian president will, while in Cotonou, hold talks with her Benin counterpart Boni Yayi on bilateral issues in a bid to strengthen the existing good relations between their two countries.

The two leaders will also discuss West African regional issues and how to speed up integration in the sub-region.

The Liberian head of State is to attend, with her counterpart, a high-profile panel on the progress of the Millennium Development Goals after 2015.
