Kantaki Washington and Busi Mlambo hosted Sol Afrik Fashion Week Launch Party on July 19, 2012 at the W hotel in Brooklyn. The event, which took place at the rooftop of the hotel, was attended by designers and fashion lovers. The musical entertainment was provided by DJ Zimo.
The first edition of Sol Afrik Fashion Week scheduled September 21-28 in Manhattan, will feature designers from the African diaspora and the world.”
