Kenyan opposition coalition names Raila Odinga presidential candidate

Kenyan opposition alliance has named Raila Odinga, former Prime Minister, its Presidential candidate.

The announcement was made by Musalia Mudavadi, the co-founder of the National Super Alliance (NASA), at a packed rally in Nairobi.

The opposition leaders also announced a new government structure.

Moses Wetangula, the current minority leader in the Senate, was named Deputy Prime Minister and Issack Rutto, the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of Social affairs.

Musalia Mudavadi would become Prime Minister in charge of the Coordination of government.
