IMPACT hosts Black History Month reception for Young Professionals of Color in New York City

The DC-based non-profit organization, IMPACT, hosted a networking reception for young professionals of color at Red Rooster Harlem on February 18, 2013.

The reception attended by elected officials such as Congressman Gregory W. Meeks was IMPACT ‘s official launch in New York City.

The organization, which was founded in 2006, fosters economic empowerment, civic engagement and political involvement among people of color between the ages of 21 and 40.
