Imagenation, a Harlem-based media arts group, hosted its first Revolution Awards on February 20, 2016 at the SVA Theater in Manhattan. The event honored Ava Duvernay, Hill Harper, Melissa Harris-Perry, Danai Gurira and Black Lives Matter.
