HCCI honors servant leaders at 13th Annual Let Us Break Bread Together Awards Dinner

Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement, Inc, (HCCI) hosted its 13th Annual Let Us Break Bread Together awards dinner honoring individuals and organizations that “have contributed to the well-being of others in some special way” on April 23, 2015 at Marina Del Rey in the Bronx.

This year’s honorees included:

– Rosemonde Pierre-Louis, Commissioner, Mayor’s Office to Combat Domestic Violence
– New Heritage Theatre Group
– Jean Nash Wells, Co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Positive Community Magazine
– The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce
– Deborah L. Johnson, Vice President, JP Morgan Chase Bank
– Rev. Dr. Preston R. Washington, Sr.
– Rev. Dennis A. Dillon, President of the Christian Times
– Amie Kiros, Owner of Gran Piatto d’Oro
– Captain Paul Washington, Former President, The Vulcan Society & Captain of the New York City Fire Department

The theme of the black-tie affair was “From Infants to Elders: HCCI improves Lives!”
