Harlem’s Fashion Row hosted its 7th annual Fashion Show & Style Awards on September 6, 2014, at The Waterfront, in Manhattan.
HFR honored individuals who have paved the way in bringing color and diversity to the fashion industry.
The honorees included legendary supermodel Beverly Johnson, lifestyle expert Emil Wilbekin, designer Byron Lars, Huffington Post’s journalist Julee Wilson, fashion publicist Umindi Francis, and celebrity stylist Wouri Vice.
A fashion show featuring Byron Lars, K. Milele by Kianga “Kiki Kitty” Peterson, Harlem Haberdashery and Josh & Nicol followed the award ceremony.
Harlem’s Fashion Row is a social company providing designers of color a platform to sell and present their collections to key leaders within the fashion industry.
